THE ISLAMIC AWARENESS WEEK (IAW) Here are the highlights for the week. There is a huge variety of topics that will be discussed and a number of famous people you can listen to. Don't lose this timetable:
MON 8th March:CAPTIVE TO CONVERT : British-born journalist, Yvonne Ridley tells her story of being captured by the TALIBAN while working for an undercover assignment in Afghanistan. FRI 12th MarchThe Purpose of Life by Yusuf Chambers. Yusuf is a U.K. based Da'ee of international fame. Yusuf Chambers is a young preacher from London, has greatly involved himself in many organizations in U.K. and outside like Peace TV, Islam Channel, Al-Jumuah magazine and Unity TV. The Exhibition resources include: Posters, interactive presentations and video documentaries on various aspects of Islam, material on Islamic Art and Calligraphy, leaflets and DVD’s about Islamic topics and copies of the Quran in various translations.
Arrangements for food from various parts of the Muslim World, plus biscuits and cake and other delicacies have been made. There will also be Henna Painting and other activities throughout the day. Know people craving for more knowledge? Invite 'em!
